Shout Out for Volunteers

It's hard to believe that we are now heading into our 6th season without our founder Dave Forbush. In that time, we have expanded our trail system back into Hartwick Pines, added a newer Pisten Bully snowcat for improved grooming, increased the number of skier visits each weekend to over 100, and expanded our operating days from weekends to 5 days a week. Now we have added snow-making to our Nordic ski center and have filed to become a non-profit organization. As Forbush Corner continues to grow we are seeing a demand for more volunteers to help us continue to make Forbush Corner a world class skiing destination. We are looking for dedicated and committed individuals who are as passionate about Forbush Corner and the sport of cross- country skiing as we are. Our immediate need is for volunteers to help with staffing the ski shop. This commitment will require more time than a day or two during the season because we need to train and depend on you. There is always work to do at Forbush Corner and if you would like to join the team please let us know! You can message us on our facebook page or email us at
