One of the great things about skiing at Forbush Corner Nordic is their great grooming equipment and experienced grooming personnel. Early each morning, Larry, Todd, and/or Mike hit the trails via one of the center's two Piston Bullys and transform the surface of the trails to a surface that contains great set tracks for classic skiing and a corduroy surface for control outside the track or for those using the skate technique. Larry is one of Michigan's most tenured Piston Bully operators, grooming here at Forbush Corner Nordic since it opened up in the 1980s. Usually, after grooming, you will see the groomers enjoying the trails, with the other skiers arriving early in the day for some excellent skiing conditions thanks to the dedicated work of these individuals.
