At Forbush Corner, we understand the challenge of outfitting growing kids with properly fitting skis and boots. That’s why we offer our Rent-to-Own Kids Program, designed to make cross-country skiing more affordable. This five-year program ensures young skiers have equipment that grows with them, and by the end of the program—or once their growth spurt slows—they’ll leave with a high-quality set of XC skis, boots, and poles to call their own.
Each year, the skier will be provided with a properly fitted set of high-quality rental skis, boots, and poles. The cost of the rental decreases each year they remain in the program, which spans five consecutive years. At the end of the program, they’ll receive a brand-new set of skis, boots, and poles to keep.
If they participate for fewer than five years, 66% of the total rental fees paid will be credited toward the purchase of a new ski package.
Please note: Customers are responsible for any excessive wear or damage to the rental equipment.

Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore
Get ready to glide into a fantastic cross-country skiing experience! Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore are partnering with Forbush Corner Nordic on Sunday, February 22nd, to provide an exciting day on the snow.
With support from trained instructors, every Girl Scout—from first-timers to seasoned pros—will have the chance to practice this beloved Michigan winter sport and discover the fun of Nordic skiing.
Don't miss out on this "snow much fun" event! All participating Girl Scouts will receive a commemorative fun patch.

If your group is interested in a Learn to Cross-Country Ski outing at Forbush Corner Nordic, please contact us. Our dedicated staff offers engaging instruction, and we provide convenient ski and boot rentals right on-site, making it easy for your members to enjoy our beautiful trails. It's a fantastic, healthy way to build skills, enjoy the Michigan winter, and create lasting memories for your youth.
